I've been researching my family history for 8 years now and it's about time I shared some of my findings.
My father's family come mostly from the North East of England (surnames Hudson, Lamb, Kerss, Pattison, Todner). Mum's father's family come from Birmingham, England (Darby, Pugh, Read) and Mum's mother's from mid-Wales (Pugh, Hughes, Jones).

On This Day ... 7 March
1801 Ann Coulson died in Hartlepool, Co Durham, England. She was only 8 months old, and was the daughter of Thomas Coulson and Isabella Bulmer.
1827 Lancelot Haddock was born in Sunderland, Co Durham. He was the son of William Haddock and Mary Hudson .
1836 Gabriel Makepeace married Ann Ions in Haltwhistle, Northumberland, England.
