I've been researching my family history for 8 years now and it's about time I shared some of my findings.
My father's family come mostly from the North East of England (surnames Hudson, Lamb, Kerss, Pattison, Todner). Mum's father's family come from Birmingham, England (Darby, Pugh, Read) and Mum's mother's from mid-Wales (Pugh, Hughes, Jones).

On This Day ... 17 May
1723 William Dunn married Mary Gallen at St Michael's Church, Felton, Northumberland, England. Both lived in Brinkburn at the time. They are my 5 x great-grandparents.
1772 Robert Marr married Hannah Wren at St Mungo's Church, Simonburn, Northumberland.
1908 Henry Pugh died at Tynddol Farm, Llanbadarn Fynydd, Radnorshire, Wales. He was 50 years old.
