I've been researching my family history for 8 years now and it's about time I shared some of my findings.
My father's family come mostly from the North East of England (surnames Hudson, Lamb, Kerss, Pattison, Todner). Mum's father's family come from Birmingham, England (Darby, Pugh, Read) and Mum's mother's from mid-Wales (Pugh, Hughes, Jones).

On This Day ... 9 August
1799 Elizabeth Hudson nee Wardell died in Bishopwearmouth, Co Durham, England. She was my 4 x great-grandmother.
1807 Mary Coulson (nee Coulson) died in Hartlepool, Co Durham, England.
1824 Emerson Wilkinson married Jane Hudson at Holy Trinity Church, Sunderland, Co Durham. Jane was the daughter of Richard Hudson and Patience Todner.
