1869     Martha Anne Pattison was born at Colliery Houses, Longframlington, Northumberland, England. She was the daughter of William Pattison and his wife Ann Brown, and was my great-grandmother.

1902     Margaret Lamb nee Gerrard died at home in Byker, Newcastle-upon-Tyne, Northumberland, England. She was 57 years old, and was my great-great-grandmother.

1917     Serjeant Leslie Liddle of the North Staffordshire Regiment died at Arras, France, during World War One. He was 23 years old and died less than a month after his older brother Sidney.
