1788     Eleanor Hunter was born in Hartlepool, Co Durham, England. Her parents were Thomas Hunter and Eleanor Horsley.

1808     Catherine Kerss was born in Gateshead, Co Durham. She was the daughter of Alexander Kerss and Catherine Errington.

1883     William Henry Levitt married Ellen Massum Horsley in St Hilda's Church, Hartlepool. Ellen was the daughter of Wilson Mossom and Margaret Horsley.
